We use your information to operate and improve Shadar, match you with vendors, process transactions, send you relevant notifications, and protect the safety of our community.

3. Information Sharing

We share your request details (photos, descriptions) with vendors on the platform so they can respond with offers. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Your Rights

We use essential cookies for authentication and preferences. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only enabled when you consent. You may withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings.

We use trusted third-party services for infrastructure (cloud hosting), delivery coordination (Yango, Uber), and analytics. Each operates under their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.

9. Applicable Regulations

We comply with Ghana's Data Protection Act (2012) and Nigeria's Data Protection Regulation (NDPR). Your data is processed and stored in accordance with the applicable laws of the country in which you registered your account.

Shadar is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
